Ilyas Phaizulline

( Oil on canvas, 200x170 cm) is an interesting example of Ilyas Phaizulline's mystical realism. The decision of the Christ without

of the Tatarstan Republic (Russia), was born in Tetyushi
city on Volga in 1950. In 1970 Ilyas Phaizulline ended a musical-art-pedagogical
secondary school in Leninigorsk and started to work in a painting, sculpture
and architecture Institute, in St. Petersburg. Ilyas painter
and draftsman, has been living and working in Kazan city, the capital of the
Tatarstan Republic, from 2001. Actually he's also member of the Artists' Union
of Russia and Tatarstan. Ilyas is a master painter of the mystical realism,
and always he focuses his attention on subjects such as Ancient Greece, mythology
and the history of the Tatar People.
