Hilda Hiary, jordan painter, was born in Amman, on 1969. After being graduated
from University of Jordan BA in political science and sociology in 1990, she
decided to dedicate herself in studying arts (graphics), in the same University.
Actually she is inscribed in many artistic associations, inside and outside
of Jordan. Among them, the most significant is surely the Lynn Ellen National
Gallery of Fine Arts. Hilda is also member of the Association of plastic arts
of Jordan.
Hilda Hiary is one of the most original and significant figures of the Arab
World. Her style is original and expressive. Her canvas reveal the fragile
and sweet movement of a figured language. Great and small dots, circles,
cylinders, tubes and geocosmic entities dispersed on the landscape of her
infinite art give sense to the definition of abstract painting in which
we can include her creativity. In her abstract paintings, millions of rainbows,
horizons and signs come near and go away from the visual horizon of the
spectator. The art of Hilda Hiary is winning and expressive and simultaneously
attracts the interest of the adult and the innocence of the child that stands
in us.
