“Everything is in nature reveals the essence of life and makes vibrate the deeperest chords of my heart”Barbara Jaccod Barbara Jaccod was born on March 13th, in 1976, in the city of Aoste where she currently resides and works as an elementary school teacher. Since ever attracted by shapes and colors, she finds inspiration from the masterworks of the great representant of the seventeenth-century Naturalism as Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Vermeer. Her subjects so are still lifes, flowers, landscapes and figures, interpreted with an almost seventeenth-century Naturalism and with a certain romantic vision. Her paintings are so immediate and marked by a decided chromatism where the images fade in the vibration of the colors. (to display each single work, just click on it)
